Nassau County Museum of Art

Industrialist and patron of arts, Henry Clay Frick in 1919 presented his son Childs Frick and his bride Frances a Georgian mansion enclosed by 200 lush acres.

The mansion once known as Clayton and its surrounding property is now the Nassau County Museum of Art. The museum has a permanent collection of art by luminaries including Edouard Vuillard, Pierre Bonnard, Roy Lichtenstein, Auguste Rodin, Georges Braque and many more.
