Make a paste using 3 parts of baking soda and 1 part of water. The consistency of this paste should be similar to that of regular toothpaste. This is a versatile paste which you can use for removing stains from your tiles, as well as the grout lines on a tiled pattern.

This paste can also be used for removing stains off concrete-based black and white flooring (but let's not get into that for now).

Apply this paste on the grout lines with your hand. Make sure that you cover yellow parts on grout lines. Let rest for 10 to 20 minutes, before washing the grout lines with lukewarm soapy water.

Prepare a mixture of clear white vinegar and water in equal parts. Spray this solution over stained grout lines. Remember, DO NOT use this mixture on natural stone floors; because it may react with the composition of the stone and cause discoloration.

Rub the grout lines with a soft bristle brush. You will see bubbles coming up - this means, it is loosening the grip of stains. Rub the grout lines only after the bubbling has stopped. Wash, rinse, and dry the floor thoroughly once you have cleaned the grout lines. If necessary, repeat the exercise next day.

Bleach it up. Mix 1 tablespoon of oxygenated bleach into 1 cup of hot water. Mix it well and pour it on dirty grout lines on your black and white porcelain tiles. It is advisable to check the suitability of the solution in a hidden corner. This way, you can check whether the solution will cause discoloration on black tiles.

Scrub the solution on grout line with a nylon brush (for example: an old toothbrush). Wet the brush occasionally with the solution. Once the grout is clean, wash and dry the floor.

Make a paste of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and dishwashing soap. This paste will help remove oil as well as dirt off the gout lines on your porcelain floor.

If the area to be covered is too large, you can divide and work on smaller parts on your floor one by one.
